This afternoon, February 7th, at the district’s day treatment program, Oak Grove Academy Gales Creek Campus, there was an incident involving a student and the building was placed into lockout. Law enforcement was called to help support the situation. Oak Grove staff are highly trained and followed all district and program protocols to keep students safe. We are cooperating with law enforcement around this incident. The Gales Creek building will be closed for building repairs and will reopen for students on Monday February 13th. Students will receive remote instruction this Thursday and Friday, February 9th and 10th. Any questions can be directed to David Warner, Director of Communications.
