Dear FGSD Staff and Families,
Next Saturday our Forest Grove High School Seniors will be graduating. This is a monumental milestone for these brave and persistent students. Thirteen years of hard work, spelling, division, spanish literacy, drama, music, english, writing, science, algebra and much more are culminating on June 6th.
Nobody could have imagined the overwhelming changes that have upended these past few months of the school year. It has been absolutely incredible to watch these students and their teachers demonstrate courage and resilience as they have faced this unprecedented challenge. This virus will not take away the friendships, mentorships and close bonds they have cultivated over these past 13 years with their classmates and teachers.
We wish all of our seniors the best as they move forward into the world in pursuit of their dreams. Go Viks!

Spotlight on Success/Senior Awards
Spotlight on success will be a drive-through event at Forest Grove High School on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
Virtual Graduation
Virtual Graduation will be held June 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
Friday Night Lights
May 29th and June 5th are the last two Friday Night Lights for the lighting of the stadium. Lights are turned on at 2020 (military time) 8:20 p.m. for 20 minutes while local DJ Athletic Director Doug Thompson plays some great music.
Graduation
Saturday, July 25, 2020, is planned as the in-person graduation.

Estimado personal y familias de FGSD:
El próximo sábado se graduarán nuestros alumnos de último año de Forest Grove High School. Este es un hito monumental para estos estudiantes valientes y persistentes. Trece años de arduo trabajo, ortografía, división, alfabetización en español, drama, música, inglés, escritura, ciencias, álgebra y mucho más están culminando el 6 de junio.
Nadie podría haber imaginado los cambios abrumadores que han cambiado estos últimos meses del año escolar. Ha sido absolutamente increíble ver a estos estudiantes y sus maestros demostrar ánimo y resistencia al enfrentar este desafío sin precedentes. Este virus no eliminará las amistades, las tutorías y los lazos estrechos que han cultivado durante estos últimos 13 años con sus compañeros y maestros.
Deseamos a todos nuestros estudiantes de último año lo mejor a medida que avanzan en el mundo en busca de los sueños. ¡Van los viks!

El éxito en el éxito será un evento servicio al carro en Forest Grove High School el jueves 4 de junio del 2020 a las 6:00 p.m.
Graduación Virtual
La graduación virtual se llevará a cabo el 6 de junio del 2020 a las 10:00 a.m.
Las luces del viernes por la noche
El 29 de mayo y el 5 de junio son las dos últimas luces del viernes por la noche para la iluminación del estadio. Las luces se encienden en 2020 (hora militar) 8:20 p.m. durante 20 minutos mientras el director local de DJ Athletic, Doug Thompson, toca buena música.
Graduación
El sábado 25 de julio del 2020 está planeado como la graduación en persona.
